Garabisa
Garabisa is a light summery top. It’s knitted in the round from the top down and it has a simple lace motif around the yoke. It also includes some raglan increases for a better yoke fit in all sizes. The pattern includes options for short and long sleeve. Use a fingering-weight yarn to get a light and airy fabric perfect for the summer season. Garabisa is the name for a light breeze in the dialect of the northern Spanish region where I was born.
MATERIALS
- 4 mm (US 6) circular needles for the body and sleeves. Adjust if necessary to achieve gauge.
- 3.5 mm (US 4) for the neck and to bind off body and sleeves.
- 4 markers for the raglan “seams” plus a different beginning-of-round marker.
- Tapestry needle and waste yarn or spare cables to put the sleeve stitches on hold.

How to choose your size: measure your bust circumference, add the ease recommended below (i.e. 15-20 cm / 6-8 inches) and find the finished bust circumference measurement below that is closest to that figure. Make sure your gauge matches the one given below to ensure your finished garment will be the same dimensions.
