My name is Belén and I'm a Spaniard living in Oxford (UK). This is where I first learnt to crochet and later to knit.

In 2018, I started a YouTube channel to explain in Spanish all the stitches and techniques commonly found in English knitting patterns. That's why I'm known online (on YouTube and Instagram) as Tejer en inglés – Knitting in English.

Over time, I began adding more content, including my knitting podcasts and my course for complete beginners. Several years later, I now have hundreds of tutorials on my YouTube channel and website. Thousands of knitters have learnt to knit or have improved their technique by following my videos.

A few years ago, I also started designing my own patterns. They are simple, contemporary designs that always teach you something new, and most of them are suitable for beginners. My patterns have become known for their clear, detailed instructions, so you can knit with confidence and enjoy every project without any stress.
