Oles

Sale price  £7.50 Regular price

Oles is a top-down jumper, knit in the round. After the neckline, short rows are added to raise the back and increases are worked at either side of the sleeves. Then sleeves and body are separated. You continue working on the body and later pick up the stitches left on hold for the sleeves and knit those from the underarm to the cuff. Colourful short-row stripes are added throughout.

The pattern includes cheat sheets for all the yoke increases and sleeve decreases which makes it very easy to follow.

It also includes links to video tutorials for the different techniques used in the pattern.

MATERIALS

  • 4 mm (US6) circular needles for the body and sleeves (adjust if necessary to achieve gauge)
  • 3.75mm (US5) circular needles for the ribbing (or a size smaller than the main needles)
  • 4 markers in different colours (A-D) for the raglan increases and a special marker for BOR.
  • tapestry needle and waste yarn for putting the sleeve stitches on hold
