The neck, ribbing and thin stripes in between are knitted holding a single strand of the main colour. The pattern has two options for the sleeves: short or 3\/4. In the 3\/4-sleeve version I held together a strand of fingering and a strand of mohair. In the short-sleeve version I held together two strands of silk fingering and changed the contrasting colour for each wide stripe. “Xarabia” means the water dust produced when the waves jump over the rocks or fine rain brought by the breeze in the dialect spoken in the northern Spanish region where I was born.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch4\u003eMATERIALS\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/h4\u003e\n\u003cul\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e5.5 mm (US9) circular needles for the body and sleeves.
